(Our travels of 19/10/12)
Today started off at Edinburgh. Of course a visit to the castle was a must.
It was a typical Scottish autumn day, cold and misty rain. Not enough to spoil the day for people though.
As we travelled south, the rain gave way to fog.
We reached the border, and of course had to stop to commemorate our visit to that wonderful country.
And so back to England !
When you turn off the major roads there are some amazing laneways and wonderful vistas to be found.
