Stitching with Pretty Woman

Pretty Woman got me in - I had to watch it again, while stitching.

I finished the stitchery for the pin cushion for Stitch-a-long - I need to wash out the pen lines before making up the pin cushion.
When it was finished I did some hand stitching on this quilt.  I am making it a quilt as you go, and have lots of hand sewing of the covering strips on the back.  I think I am making headway.
Earlier in the evening I worked on finishing 1 UFO and repurposing another.

First one was to finish off this storage bag to keep my inktense pencils and water soluble crayons in.  I dyed both these fabrics using Dala sun reactive paints.  On the left has salt resist effect, and on the right I put a fern leaf on - it worked well.  The aqua was painted with a bit of magenta stripe in and dried in the sun.

The second UFO was going to be a bit useless so to move it out of the UFO drawer I cut it up and repurposed it.  The zips were already sewn in, as were the plastic panels/flowers.  Now I have 2 useful project pouches which will get used.
